The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorn, is a novel roughly a woman named Hester who has committed adultery during the mid-1800s and is nip by the people of the club to wear a worsen letter A on her chest and to live by herself in the countryside. Throughout the novel the townshipspeoples attitudes towards Hester Prynne volte-face drastically. In the takening of the novel the townspeople were precise part and judgmental towards Hester since she has committed an act of adultery. Throughout the novel they begin to permute their attitudes toward her and slowly allow her back into the community. In the start vista Hester was put on a stage for normal disturbance from the community. Since this was a Puritan community they all believed it was very unsound to commit a sin and they became disgusted and pitch-dark towards Hester. They overly thought adultery was the worse sin that could possibly be committed.

Throughout the novel the townspeople began to see how stabilizing she was to the community and began to look upon her more because she learned from her mistake and showed that she didnt shell out what they thought and just moved on. her role in the town changed because she wasnt the main focus everyone wasnt snap on her sin and just looking at her with pity solely in a different opinion because she gained respect from her helpfulness and selflessness towards the community and the way she handled the whole situation.
